Trick-or-Treat!

Happy Halloween Everyone! All week leading up to tonight we were expecting rain… Turned out it held off, the temperature was around 10°C and not too windy. So the kids went out and had a great time trick-or-treating. Sara dressed as a vamp, Chris was a Ninja and Aaron went as a pumpkin.

Sara, Christopher and I are all raising money for the 4th Georgetown Cub Pack (http://www.4thgeorgetown.ca). The funds raised go directly towards the kids outings, camps and help out with all their badges crests and crafts that they do on a weekly basis.

Apple Day

Woke earlier than normal for a Saturday, Sara, Chris and I headed out for Apple Day! We took two roots went out had some fun and raised some money for the 4th Georgetown Scout Group.

I really wasn’t sure what to expect, being that the last Apple Day I was a part of all we did was stand infront of a store, hand out apples and accost the local patrons for donations to support our group. The idea of going door to door was a bit different. I was very surprised by the response. It was very positive!…

New cell phone

So after going for the last month without my cell phone, I finally made the trip out to pick up a new cell.

When it comes to technology and toys I love (as most do) the toys and features. However I also tend towards being a purist in that I like simplicity. So I started going through the search. I checked out the three major providers with local shops in town (Bell Mobility (current provider), Telus and Rogers).
