Using my photo software, I zoomed in on Ron's photo and I was astonished to find two additional discs hidden in the dark clouds. There is also another faint vapour trail that becomes visible. We live in Caledon, 5 km.N of Mayfield with nothing for miles across the road.At about 12:30 am on Aug0309, my husband and I observed a brilliant beam of white light that entered our bedroom window from the sky, passed through the curtains, and shot across the room at a downward angle. The beam was solid, did not dispserse, like a flashlight or headlight.We ran outside, there was nothing -no car, no noise, no plane. About 20 min. later, a jet flew directly over our house so low that I was terrified it was going to crash. Not much sleep that night! Pearson confirmed there was a low-flying jet, but no details. I've written to Transport Canada, and they gave meaningless info. Could you tell me approx. where the field is that was investigated? I would appreciate any more info that you might have.
